Multiple Sclerosis

What would be the best major if you have (not MS), but something similar to MS? Suppose that in 20 years time, you suspect that you might be in a wheelchair or limited in the type of physical things you can do?

I’m probably going to stick to what interests me, English, Asian studies, philosophy and religion, regardless of the advice I get… But I’m just curious.

Yes, just stick to what interests you. You might write a best seller or something or become a great professor.

Most college majors lead to fairly inactive jobs, so don’t worry to much about it. Study what you want to. Obviously things like construction work and nursing are probably out, but most jobs are (or at least can be) wheelchair-friendly.

You know, that’s one of my driving forces to go to college: not being limited to manual labor jobs like being a janitor at Wal mart.
