Rather than bump an old thread, thought I’d start a new one.
I’m going to be in Mumbai for business in early June. In the course of my work, I have to drag along tons of suitcases / boxes with the materials I use (and shipping is not an option). So that means I can’t fly to some other city, sightsee there and then schlep it all to Mumbai - it’s just not physically possible. Problem is - I have a “hard stop” at the end of my business so I can’t tack on a few days afterwards for sightseeing as I normally would, as I have to be back in the US. So I have to tack on my few days beforehand. So I think that means Delhi / Agra / Taj Mahal are out (though I’m hearing from people who have been that the Taj Mahal isn’t worth the trek anyway).

So I think I need to be based in Mumbai at the hotel I’ll be staying at, and just do sightseeing / day trips based there for a few days beforehand. Any suggestions on how to maximize the stay? Must-sees? Guides you recommend, etc.?
Thanks.
