<p>Anyone know anything about the music at ND? Not neccessarily the major, but the other performance groups? I really want to do Notre Dame Chorale, is it really hard to get into? And I would also like to do some woodwind stuff if anyone has information on the bands… Thanks!</p>
<p>They hold vocal auditions during orientation. Typically there’s a single audition and they consider you for all the available choruses – there’s several besides Chorale – there’s at least two different liturgical choirs. Look at the Campus Ministry site for info on them. I think it’s pretty competitive, but if you have experience with choral performance you’ll likely get into one of the choral groups. I don’t know much about the band other than they are already practicing when orientation starts – I’d suggest you email them about that. Band is a very big commitment.</p>
