<p>My son is an entering Freshman at UGA. He is in the Pre-Business program. One area that attracted him to UGA was the Certificate Program in Music Business. He’s an accomplished blues guitarist and viewed Athens as a great location to continue to perform with local bands. I understand that the head of the Music Business Certificate Program and his team has left UGA. That’s unfortunate as he was a very respected and well-connected industry professonal. Does anyone at UGA know what the plans are for this program? It is widely considered tops and my son is disappointed that the Director (who he met with when we visited UGA as part of the college selection process) is leaving.
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
