Hey guys! Could anyone tell me my chances for getting into either USC or UCLA for a music composition major?
My GPA is a 3.8 and my SAT (new 1600) score is 1250. My class rank is top 30%, and have taken 3 APs and 1 IB. I understand these numbers are a little low for these schools, but I’ve been told that because I’m a recently diagnosed type I diabetic (junior year) and have a father who was recently incarcerated, they will look at my scores differently. I discussed both of these occurrences in my essays. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Thanks!
