I was wondering if anyone can give any insight on the interviews for music composition? My kid has a few and was wondering how to prepare.

It’s been a very long time since my son interviewed for composition - but, at the time, the most important thing was to be able to speak about their own music, the music they listened to and liked, why they were interested in composing in the first place, what they were looking for in a program, and their goals for their future with composition.
Most important is to be genuine.

It varies from school to school. Could be a relaxed conversation, a grilling, an exam or assignment. I’ll PM you.
