Music Midtown in Atlanta 2013

<p>My son just informed us last night that he will be attending Music Midtown in Atlanta with some friends this year. I know a lot of you on this forum are from the Atlanta area, and we would love some pointers on where it’s located, transportation (ie, Marta, cab availability, even cab company names), general tips of getting around Atlanta.</p>

<p>Anyone ever been, and anyone familiar with the Piedmont Park area?</p>

<p>Hi Montegut, I live in Midtown and my D and my brother and sister-in-law attended the concert last year. It is held in Piedmont Park (throughout the park - it’s a huge event). The Midtown Marta station is your best bet for access, then you’d walk about a half mile or so through Midtown to the park. You are welcome to PM me to discuss other details.</p>
