I’ll be attending the University of West Florida next year as an exchange student. Here in the Netherlands, there is no music at all.

I’m a pretty avid guitar player, both electric and acoustic. Are there jam sessions going on in general on American college campuses? Just wondering.

Bump…

I’d say yes. American college students can be very musical; many start bands and ‘jam’ together, etc. Many colleges offer ensembles for performance. You could see if West Florida offered such an arrangement.

you shouldn’t have a problem at all, most american campuses have a lot of ametuer musicians and there are plenty of jam session.
