<p>I have friends who have hired admissions consultants to help their kids with the process of getting in to an Ivy League school. Is there such a thing in the musical theater world? Does anyone have any recommendations on where to find this kind of help.</p>

<p>Yes there is. You can search for someone in your immediate geographical area – or you can PM soozievt, who posts frequently on this discussion group. I would also recommend doing some extensive research on this discussion group – there is a wealth of information here that will help you a great deal, and many posters who have either been through the process already, or are actively involved as teachers/coaches.</p>
<p>Make sure that the person you hire is in fact familiar with college MT auditions. They are quite different from other types of theater auditions, and very different from other types of college admissions.</p>
