i think its ok to post that sort of thing a lot of people on here are students not parents like me who don’t use facebook. its super helpful for people to send that stuff on here. :slight_smile:

I agree with this. The second rule of the MT Parents FB group explicitly states that what is shared in the group should stay in the group.

Yes, my bad. I didn’t realize that was a rule of the group. I came to the group because someone else shared that spreadsheet with me outside of FB and I found it so helpful. I really dislike Facebook and was excited to share it with this group here but will delete my post so as not to violate the FB rules. Appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

Yes, thank you. I only joined the group after someone texted me the spreadsheet and, admittedly, I didn’t remember the group rule. I have deleted my post here (thought it wasn’t accessible anyway) but will keep the QR code up for those who want to join the FB group and access the spreadsheet that way. I hate to gate keep it since it is such a valuable resource!

Will schools send decisions on weekends or is it generally during the week?

Totally understandable on all fronts, especially if you’ve got a student waiting on acceptances right now. It’s a stressful time.

Not sure about portals, but some schools have, in the past, made calls to accepted students on weekends.

Hi!!! New to this chat!!! This is so nice I can’t believe I just found it!

My son hasn’t passed any prescreens yet but we are holding out hope. I heard a lot of people haven’t heard yet and prescreens come out in March. Let me know if anyone hears!!! Waiting anxiously for top schools (Ithaca especially!!)

Has he had any auditions yet, or still waiting back to hear if he passed the prescreen and will be offered an audition?

My daughter is several years out and I know she got her prescreens in on the earlier side, but I thought most schools would have gotten through their prescreens at this point and would be finishing up auditions since the majority will have made all their offers by the end of March. Maybe I misunderstood your comment though?

I know some people have gotten acceptances from Texas State MT, does anyone know if rejections have been sent out?

Don’t think so. Plus, I think they call accepted students in waves, rather than all at once.
