<p>Creighton University offers a BFA in Musical Theatre. Although it is a fairly new program, students/productions have been nominated for awards for the quality of the productions. Musical Theatre majors have placed at regional NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competitions. </p>
<p>In addition to the Jesuit Core courses (educating students in a Theology, Philosophy, World Cultures, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, etc). students receive an intense curriculum in Voice, Piano, Foundations of Music, Sight Singing, Musical Theatre History & Repertoire, Musical Theatre Performance Practice, Acting, Stagecraft, Audition Technique, Play Direction, Script Analysis, and a continuous series of Dance Studies (including Ballet, Jazz/Tap and Modern).</p>
<p>Beginning fall 2010, Creighton will produce one musical per semester in addition to their existing theatre season/music concert season. </p>
