Musical Theatre College Audition- songs...?

Hello!

I am a musical theatre transfer student, auditioning for several BFA and BM musical theatre schools. The audition requirements are incredibly specific this time around:

It is required that I sing one uptempo and one ballad; one must be a classic musical theatre song written 1930-1969, in a legit/lyric style and one must be a contemporary musical theatre song written 1970-2010, demonstrating female belt; neither song should be longer than 1 minute long. No songs from any production currently playing on Broadway.

I’ve chosen to sing “And This is My Beloved” from Kismet as my Golden Age piece but I am not sure what to pair with it. Any suggestions?

Please note:
*I am a legit soprano with a pretty limited belting range.

Thank you!

I’m guessing that no one has responded to your question yet because there are so many options for your contemporary belt song. Almost anything within the specifications you mention would be a good contrast to “And This is My Beloved”! It’s pretty difficult to make a more specific recommendation without knowing more about you, and what sort of research you have already done.
