Okay, so I am preparing for Musical Theatre auditions and I have no idea what material would be best to use. I know I will need two songs, 16- 32 bars, one up tempo and one more of a ballad. And also two contrasting monologues. I have looked and looked for the perfect material but I have nooooo idea. I suppose I am a little picky
I am young, I have acted in Grease, as Sandy, The Outsiders, as Cherry, Footloose, Ethel McCormick, Steel Magnolias, as Annelle, etc. I believe that I can portray many different types of characters. My youtube is macnmayed if you want a little taste of me…but don’t judge based on that because none of the stuff on there is really that good…
But some help or advice would be WONDERFUUUUUUUL!!!
Thank you for any who respond to this!

Head on over to the Musical Theater forum in the College Majors Section and re-post there. Very active forum with lots of good advice.
