<p>No. In-school suspension is not suspension really. That being said, discipline issues in highschool really should have NOTHING to do with college admittance.</p>

<p>While that’s usually my own take on the topic, it’s still important to check with the high school guidance department to make sure that it won’t be reported to colleges as a suspension. You don’t want your self-report to be at odds with whatever your high school honchos are claiming. The suspension itself (at least in this case) won’t hurt admission chances, but the appearance of withholding information might.</p>
