Go ahead and pm it here. About SAT’s, how low is low? If it has a 7 in front of it, IT IS NOT LOW!! :). Anything that’s a 650 or higher could be better, but won’t kill you. People have gotten in with lower scores, but not many people.

I will read
For SAT part, they will consider your special situation. Don’t worry.

i’ll look over it =)

I’ll read it to if you pm me.

I think their leniency with SAT scores depends on a few factors, including the applicant pool and your strengths. How common applicants from your country are is also important. After all, they want diversity. If English isn’t your first language, I think they are much more lenient.

okay, thanks. i have a 2050 composite score, which was the 2nd highest in my school :S

oh man, i’m so going to freak out the minute i send my app.

edit: is it worth taking the SAT again in jan?

Yes .

Yes, if you can improve your score.

Are you in US now? or an English-spoken country?
If more than 3 years, then your score is a little low. If only 1 year or something, then your score is pretty good.

i’m in a french/german/italian speaking country. (switzerland)

i really just need to get my head around the verbal section, and NOT answering the ones i don’t know coz they deduct points.
lol.

Hmm I’m Argentine and got 800 in critical reading. I have never taken English classes; I just learned English by myself during the last 6 years. I haven’t lived in another country either; so I think it depends mostly on how much you read daily. Read all the English you can to prepare for your January test; literature is especially worthy, I reckon. Ah sorry, I don’t have time to read your essay right now.

^lol, no problem. yea, i read a lot and am getting good grades in AP eng lit, but i just HATE HATE HATE the stupid verbal section!!! i do well on all the practices and then go in and screw up.

wish me luck on the next one!

p.s. it kinda sucks that they care more about the verbal than the writing. lol, writing is so much easier.
