EDIT: This post is not violating any rules, this is not an essay an intimate relationship between a boy and his computer

He is applying to Stanford for computer science/entrepreneurship,

His grades are not exactly perfect, but he created a business based on an app he made that he sold for 100k, and is writing about how intense he was one night while writing the code, and bases his essay off of how when a guitarist is playing beautiful, out of control insane music one may say he was having sex with the guitar, and my brother is basing it off the same thing, but when writing code…

Is this weird? I am telling him not to write it, but he says Stanford likes these types of unique essays?

I know right, I figure it could either go really well or extremely terrible for him…

Maybe, but I think his essay may turn his admissions officer off

Since his essay will not due for many months, he will have plenty of time to come to his senses and show better judgment. I am afraid that you and your “brother” are immensely confused.

I’d say just have him write it and then leave it for a week or so-- if your brother and respected adults read it and really like it, then consider it.

If not, it’ll just be a cool piece that he wrote once, not an essay that he’ll actually use. As @xiggi says, he’s still got quite a while!
