My CCC: "We don't offer credit for AP Art History." But other CCC's do?

My CCC tells me that they don’t offer any credit for AP Art History. Dilemma: I need this credit, otherwise I won’t have a full IGETC done for this fall when I enter the UC.

I just now googled and found this:
Official CCC Transfer Counselor Webpage - http://www.asccc.org/icas/Docs/Final%20IGETC_Standards_v1_1_06-04-09.pdf</a> (PAGE 8)

Do you think that PDF is valid proof, and if so do you think I could point this out to my CCC Counselor to reverse their opinion?

Your help is much needed and appreciated, thank you!

looks like proof to me man!

i’d be raising hell if i were you!

best of luck, don’t stop fighting!!

yep, you should definitely get that credit for igetc, each ccc can decide what credit to give for ap’s at their individual college, however, that pdf outlines what the entire association as a whole accepts for igetc certification and you have to be able to receive igetc credits for it, which can be separate and different than what your ccc would grant you for their specific institution

go to another CC, enroll in a 1 unit PE class…

??? PROFIT.

if there aren’t any 1 unit PE classes, then take an easy online course over the summer credit/no credit.
