So, what do you think my chances are at said schools? Any input would be appreciated.

UC Berkeley and UCLA admit less than 25% of applicants; approximately 88% of them are California residents. As such, these schools are reaches for most in-state students and extreme reaches for OOS. Although the UC’s use a comprehensive review process, they are still largely numbers driven. They will only use two of your SAT II scores in their calculations (plus, of course, the three SAT I’s). UC’s recalculate the gpa using only “a-g” course grades from 10th and 11th grades, so don’t count PE or anything decidedly not college prep in the gpa.

UCSF is a graduate and professional school, there is no undergraduate education there.

U of Washington looks like a potential match. They accept slightly more OOS students than UC’s, and their overall acceptance rate is much higher. It’s somewhat numbers driven and as an OOS student, you might want to re-take the SAT (or try the ACT–either is accepted) to try to raise the math score. I don’t think they care about SAT II’s. I know several CA kids who chose “U-dub” over the “lesser” UC’s. It’s a very large school, tenacious self-starters will fare better than those who need or prefer a lot of guidance, but there are many academic options, lots of science, the campus is very pretty and Seattle is a great town.

UCLA: Reach (out of state)
UCB: Reach (out of state)

Given this advice, does anyone recommend that I apply ED to University of Washington?

No ED for University of Washington. No EA either.
