What are my chances for Middlebury, Brown, or other schools of similar caliber? What can I do to increase my chances? Thanks!

Chances at Brown are always very hard to predict / unpredictable. But:
You are from a small private school, with not being at the top of your class? grade point avg looks good, but is there grade inflation? One of your best determinants would be if there are previous recent students from your school who got in to Brown, where did they compare to you? Have you taken the most rigorous courses your school offers? If not, I would not put your chances very high, given the slightly low Board scores and “average” for Brown EC etc. Do you have an extra “facet” you have not mentioned? (minority, alum kid, first gen to college, etc?) To increase chances: up your scores, esp math. would be the best advice.

I also recommend improving your Math score! How did you do on SAT IIs (if you’ve taken any yet), but do your best with your essay to add a little spark!
Chance me back please =)
