I posted my stat on CMU, but nobody seems to answer me…T-T
Would it be a waste of my time and money?

materials science huh? my dad’s friend was telling me about how University of Illinois urbana-champaign has a really good materials science department. maybe you could check that out? they extended the application deadline. plus, i think you could easily get in there too. anyways, I from what I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure you get into GA Tech, and a good chance w/ CMU, since you’ve taken an ambitious courseload, but i don’t know much about chances at CMU. good luck wherever you go!

r u sure u r applying as international? coz i know that’s for ppl who are not u.s. citizens and green card holder. applying as international only makes it harder to get in

as a matter of fact u of illinois urbana has the best materials engineering department in the country. Even better than MIT. CMU i only really good at computer engineering/ computer science

Thanks!!!
if UIUC extended their deadline, maybe I shoud think about applying there:)
since it’s public, i thought it was too late to apply.
crazyforee, I’m not applying as an international student.
Though I’m not a native English speaker, I have US citizenship…
