Hi.

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 3.5 years with a BA in Economics (Sept 02 - Dec 05). My undergrad GPA was a 3.245, with around a 2.9 major gpa. I havent taken the gmat as yet, but lets say I get a 600-630. I got a 1310 on the SAT.

I recently completed an 18month management development program at a fortune 100 public utility. I had three rotations, one was a project manager where I developed initiatives to save around 400k, the 2nd one as a budget analyst, and the third as a field supervisor in collections.

I recently accepted a full time offer as an operating supervisor in revenue protection. Here I supervise a group of special inspectors, splicers, mechanics, and senior meter technicians. My employees range in experience from 10-40years. I currently make 57,500, and I will be brought up to at least 85,100 within 3 years. My job entails supervising field crews whom are responsible for identifying energy theft and performing street and overhead electricity disconnects. We currently have stringent goals of finding (and backbilling) at least 1 million dollars in theft a year.

I never really thought I had a chance at langone, but some of my coworkers were recently accepted.

Also, my parents are from a small island in the Caribbean, and my great grandparents were indentured servants. Is there anyway of letting NYU know this? Would I be allowed to check off latino although I am obviously indian. Usually I just check other and put caribbean american.

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks.
