I have a 3.66 GPA (chemistry major) and a 26 MCAT. I have a lot of research experience, one summer of volunteering in a hospital, a math and science tutor, and VP/Founder of a club. Am I a good DO applicant?

Your stats are in range, but your ECs look a bit weak. Have you done any shadowing? Specifically shadowing any DOs?

Many DO schools require a LOR from an osteopathic physician as part of you application packet

It looks like you took MCAT without prep. Correct? People get this type of score on their first diagnostic test. Why don’t you prepare good (like everybody else does) and re-take it.

What?! :-w
An MCAT score of 26 has a percentile rank of 54.5 (mean = 25.3)

Percentile is for the real test. I was talking about the very first dignostic that many take. Some get higher on dignostic than 26 and some have in this range before they even take Physics and some other related to MCAT classes. I just know what I know. The internet statistics is available to everybody, it may or may not reflect the personal experiences that we share here. Most of the time this statistics is pretty useless, as I said some people are taking MCAT without prep. They will be included in this statistics. One got to prep, spend those daily hours before taking the test.

Um miami, you obviously have no social skills or filter. Somebody needs to shut their pie hole.
