Hi. This is my first post!
I live in Canada, but I’m a permanent resident of USA…(am I still considered international???)

anyway… here are my stats so far…
SAT I:
800v 800m… probably taking the new one as well.
SAT II:
Taking writing (just in case), chemistry or physics, math2c in jan… taking biology later also.
aiming for high or at least mid-700s…hopefully…
but i have no idea…

High School Grades… (in %)
well. i lived in New Zealand when I was in grade 9… (with totally diffenrent grading system)so I omitted my stats for that.
Last yr (gr10):average 93.3
Mathematics 99
Religion 95 (I go to catholic school)
Business Studies 95
English 82 (errrr.i know… but really a horrible, unfair teacher everyone hates)
Science 94
grade11 biology 99
Career/Civics 86/96
Canadian history 91

This year so far (gr11): mid-term average 97.7
Mathematics 96
Physics 100
Chemistry 96
I’ll be taking other classes next semester… I’m hoping to improve…since I couldn’t really look after my grades when I just arrived in Canada last yr…

My school doesn’t offer any AP courses…but I’m hoping to self-study and take AP biology and chemistry exams…I’m taking all the hardest courses that the school offers though…
I really have weak ec’s…that’s my biggest concern…
so far…I’ve done: school orchestra (violin), school choir, chapel choir, community orchestra, yearbook, student council, few clubs, librarian, peer tutoring, badminton team… (and I enjoy other sports…but I’m not in any teams), volunteer work in a hospital, and competitions for math and science…
I think I can get decent essays and recommendation letters…
My school doesn’t rank students, but I’m pretty sure I’m in the top 5%. (out of about 200)
what do you think of my chances for JHU(ED), Washington U, and Georgetown? (Maybe a little stretch… but Cornell??) I’m planning to go into biology/pre-med.
