<p>I am currently in my second year of college. Last year I was at a different school and had around a 2.8 gpa because I played on the soccer team there. Now i am at Kent State and have a 3.42 gpa and was on dean’s list this past semester. I currently have finished 36 credit hours. Do I have a chance at getting into either James Madison University or Belmont University? I would probably be either a Business Management or Music Business/Industry major. Thanks for your help</p>

<p>With a 3.42 GPA, you should have no problem transferring to Belmont. I believe their acceptance rate is around 66% for incoming college freshmen. You’ve already proven you can perform at a college level, so I say you should go for it!</p>
