I’m a white female junior at a really competetive public high school in Illinois (one of the top in the state, consistently top 10) and George Washington is pretty high up on my list for schools.

SAT I: 2180 (M-780, R-740, W-660)
ACT:C-35, E-35, S-35, M-34, R-36
SAT II’s: Taking U.S. History and Math II this year, should I take another in the
GPA: My school does GPA weirdly. Our regular GPA is out of a 5.0, but for honors classes you can get a 6.0 for A’s. So I have a 5.4 but I don’t really know how to convert it.
Course Load: For the past three years I’ve taken all honors except for two classes where honors wasn’t an option.
AP’s: Euro-4, Lang&Comp-taking this year, U.S.-this year; Gov, Microeconomics, Psych, Calc AB, Lit&Comp, Bio are all being taken next year. I’m expecting pretty much 4’s and 5’s on these but no way to really know I guess
EC’s: 4 years of track, freshman year volleyball, senior year cross country, NHS, Peer Leadership and Students Against Destructive Decisions for two years each. I babysit a lot and this summer my job is teaching summer camp classes for little kids. First semester this year I volunteered at an after school program for elementary school kids once a week because their parents have to work. I helped with homework, gym, games. I also have volunteered at a barn nearby, helping special needs kids with their horse-back riding lessons. Last summer I went to the National Student Leadership Conference at American University for Intelligence and National Security.
Other Schools: Applying to Georgetown, Northwestern, Marquette, Ohio State, and maybe Brown
Other: I’m planning on doing the five year B.A./M.A. in Criminal Justice/Criminology but I also might do a double major in International Studies and Psychology. My main goal is to work for the FBI or other government agency, and I can use that pretty easily on essays because it’s not too common (especially where I live). I’m also fairly good at interviewing so that’s a plus. Also, do I have any chance for merit-based scholarships? I won’t qualify for need-based ones, but I have three sisters who also go/are going to go to college and that’s A LOT of money. I’ve gone to a recent info-session in the area, and expressed interest online.

Any opinions/advice would be totally welcome. Thanks!
