Unless you are black/sub-Saharan African, you are lying.

I’m part Sudanian. Mother’s side

I’m liking your ECs quite a bit for Rochester and your GPA. The bummer is that CR score. Are you a graduating senior? Are there any SATII or AP scores that could help boost that CR a bit? Are you an American or Egyptian citizen?

Yes, I’m a senior. I have a dual citizenship.

@ jkeil911 I got a 4 on my AP English Language and Composition exam last year.

HAH! Hence, “African American”!! I love your sense of humor.

I think it’s time to call Rochester and talk to your admissions officer and see what the AO thinks of your app. I don’t know enough about uroc to know how they’re going to react to that CR in the context of your ECs, GPA, and personal experience (the one SATII isn’t a big enough push). It seems to me you’d bring a lot of diversity to campus, but maybe uroc will have found that diversity somewhere else this year. Do let us know what the AO says, please.
