I study German and I want to major in German.
I will have completed German level 6 (which is the highest level at my college) at the time of my application. I speak the language fluently and I also speak Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Dari, Russian and Azerbaijani.
I have also worked as an Assistant Teacher for two years in a German private school.
In terms of work experience, i’ve completed an internship as a Marketing Operation Manager, Human Resource Assistant Director, Sales Intern and now working on a Business Legal internship.
I am planning on joining the Army under the ROTC scholarship in Military Intelligence (Language Specialist), and I aspirate to becoming an officer one day in Military Intelligence. The program and military career will help me become clearly fluent in German.
In high school I did poorly, my GPA was around 2.8 and I didn’t take it seriously, I also never took the SAT or ACT
During college I was faced with homelessness for a time, I was faced with coming to terms of me being Transgender (MtF) and putting my life back on track.
I want to live up to my potential but I am not sure if Cornell is out of my reach.
I would like some advice and guidance because I want to submit my app for Fall 2018 as soon as possible.
