My chances, if any?

Hey everyone! Happy new year!
I’m hoping to transfer to JHU next year and pursue the International Studies major. Given the info below, can

First I want to lay out the bad stuff, which so happened to be the most important.

  1. I’m a university student, hoping to transfer to JHU. (16% of the transfer applicants are admitted)
  2. I have a 3.3-3.45 GPA.
  3. My ACT’s are 29. (Math part screwed me over.)
  4. I was put on social probation in high school, but this lapse of judgement was due to certain psychological problems that could be proven by a letter from my psychologist.

Good stuff:

  1. Clubs:
-in highschool: Spanish club, Russian Club.
-in college: MUN, Political Science Student Association, Ski and Snowboarding Club, Middle Eastern Students Association, Classical Studies students association.
  2. I’m an international student - a Middle Eastern to be specific.
  3. An exceptional TOEFL score.
  4. All of my professors are willing to write a letter of recommendation for me, and they all “have positive opinions of me.”
  5. I took rigorous highschool courses, though the GPA was still 3.3.
  6. I speak 7 languages, and have gotten an A in every language course I’ve taken. Although I don’t see how this one would determine my admission to JHU.

And finally, I heard JHU admitted two% of its students with a lower than 3.0 GPA… how did that happen?

Thanks!

the 2% is under-represented minorities mostly. And JHU is a high reach for you.

I really don’t think you’ll get into jhu, sorry.
