I took two SATs. My best: 2110.
780: math, 670: critical reading, 660 writing.

Rank: 13/640 in a competitive high school in alabama (top 5% in the nation).
I take alot of AP classes and got all As. I have a rigorous schedule.

Yes, you need to raise your SAT score in CR. ALso, what about SATIIs?
I think you are iffy; the fact that you’re from Alabama might help, as geographical diversity is a plus. On your numbers alone, although you should be proud of your level of academic achievement - because you are clearly bright - the problem is that NU couldn’t begin to accept all the kids with comparable (or even somewhat better) numbers, so you need to make yourself really stand out.
Where does NU fall on your list? Have you considered ED?

Hi Wakka-I see from your post your list includes many fine universities. Some variables that you may wish to consider–You obviously have worked very hard in school, and the SATs test scores in Math are solid-but your CR/W are weaker. Your ECs do not show an area of passion/interest. You already know this. So, now what do you do? My thoughts–include schools that you feel are safeties, determine what you want to study-as that may eliminate a school and/or add other schools you are not currently looking at, take time to write essays you feel really reflect who you are and what you want to study.
G’Luck! APOL-a mom

If i apply for ED, how much of a better chance do I have?

And if I don’t, seriously, what are my chances? Do I even have a shot bc of my weak ecs?
However, my one passion is participating in my church yg. I have a good chance of being the president my senior yr and my yg pastor wants me to be the head of the “skit club” we are thinking to form…will that boost up my chances some?
