Ranked 14th out of 489
only a 1600 on my SATs (I plan on retaking them again)
Varsity Hockey 9,10,11,12 captain this year
Varsity Tennis 9,10,11,12 captain jr and senior year
National Honors Society
Spanish National Honors society
Attended Massachusetts Boy’s State 2007 for a week (A leadership program where 6 boys from our school were selected to represent our school)
Running an after school tennis program everyday after school
Part of a G.I.V.E (Getting Involved in Volunteer Experiences) club at our school
I have taken all honors classes and 3 AP courses throughout high school
I have a summer job as a camp counselor working with kids
I have a lot of community service hours
Excellent recommendation letters </p>

<p>What do you think? Can I get in despite my low SAT scores?

<p>You have great stats, but that SAT grade is a real problem. Have you thought about taking the ACT?</p>

<p>Yes, I have thought about taking the ACTs. I just don’t really know a lot about them. So if anyone could inform me that’d be great. What’s the difference between the SAT and the ACT?</p>

<p>I did a lot better on my ACT than my SAT. I found it a lot easier and I didn’t know anything about it at the time either.</p>
