Please give me my chances. Don’t be afraid to be harsh!

hmmm, you seem to be competitive. I’d focus on raising your standardized test scores (they’re competitive, but could be a bit more so). To me, the fundraising is the most impressive part of your application, but I have little to no experience in this area. How did you fundraise?

Which school are you applying to? What is your intended major? (Mostly to see if your EC’s align with your passions)

Going to a Jesuit High School is not a hook.

but more important than anything else, please ignore “Who’s Who Among American High School Students”. It’s a complete scam and waste of application space. ignore it.

you have virtually the same SAT, GPA and AP class stats as me and I got in off the waitlist, and with your array of EC’s, I’m sure you have a good to very good chance.

Again, it depends how you do next year along with what college you are applying to…

Thanks for the tips guys. What other schools do you think that I will be a successful applicant at? As for the question about fundraising, I set up a table outside the enterance gate of a local gaelic football field. I also gave a speech at my church and they took up a second collection for me. I also sent letters to local companies.

My intended major is premed. Do my EC’s align or does it look bad

a)premed isn’t a major
b)so you plan to apply to NHS then? the school of Nursing and Health Studies?
c)It does seem a little odd that most of your EC’s have more to do with cultural stuff (esp. ancient and medieval europe). Your volunteer stuff does demonstrate some desire to help those hurting, which is sorta like a doc. How do you plan on spinning it?

I am applying to Georgetown College. I dunno how I will spin it. It will be tricky
