<p>ok with what i have now i think im pretty screwed…
can anyone tell me if i can get into ANY of the skls im applying to?
im from hong kong btw</p>

<p>SAT1:CR 750, M 730 (not a good score for me as im doing sciences), W 690
SAT2:Bio 720 Chem 790</p>

<p>im doing IB…my final transcript is prolly 39 out of 42 lowest and 41 out of 42 highest
taking
Chinese A1 SL,6
English A2 SL,7
Math SL,7
Bio HL, wither 6 or 7
Chem HL 7
Econ HL either 6 or 7</p>

<p>Activities:
school choir…participated in local and international competitions…got awards
public speaking and poem recital competitions…got awards
Piano 8th grade, now trying for Performance Diploma
Yearbook committee
Volunteer at spastics association
sales assistant at Oxfam shops
Chinses Martial arts since year 5
thai boxing</p>

<p>in skl’s honor roll and got scholarships</p>

<p>and i have no leadership roles : O : O : O</p>

<p>For my essays im not sure if im doing well or not…afterall English is not my strength : P</p>

Northwestern
U of chicago
carleton college
wesleyan
rice
U of michigan
UCLA, UCB, UCSD, UCD and UC irvine</p>

<p>can anyone pls tell me if i can get into any ONE of these skls? : ( i am in despair…</p>

<p>are you applying for Fin aid?..
if yes, then naturally, your chances are slim…if you’re not, then you can be pretty confident of getting into at least one of those colleges…
your SAT’s while not outstanding are good enough, and you have a nice IB score…so yea, good chance…</p>

but im not so sure about public u anymore since im not US citizen and considering the economy now…hmmmm…
i also heard that UCs are gonna admit less students for sure…and international esp</p>

<p>Oh Spastics association is basically an association for volunteers to go take care of spastic adults together LOL</p>
