Thanks Alot!

I will chance back!

Little or no chance at Cornell, Penn, or NYU… Overrated, anyway…
Others would probably pay you to come.

Word of advice, don’t think you should mention:

“People to People Leadership Summit to Stanford University
Nomination for Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine in 2008
Personal invitation (Student Leadership Conference to (Georgetown University)”

Colleges don’t want to hear about this…
Maybe I am wrong but I think a lot of people get these or at least a good amount from what I hear in my school. Seems like a way to make money…

I think you got a fair shot at most of the schools; however if you pull up your sat scores to 2100+ then I think you’re in pretty good shape for every school. Remember essays count a lot especially for Cornell. Good luck with everything.

Boston College, Cornell, and Chicago are a stretch but you have all senior year to bring up SAT and GPA, otherwise you’re all set with ECs and could already get in to the other schools.

well not Cornell, Chicago, villanova or BC and Penn state is a small stretch but the others are all very good chance of acceptance

how bout stern at NYU? Do i got a shot?

I use sites like collegeboard.com or princetonreview.com to check out grade averages and sat scores, I think most of those schools would be good for you, but check them out individually at the websites.
for example: NYU average sat scores

Critical Reading Middle 50%: 620 - 720
Math Middle 50%: 630 - 720
Writing Middle 50%: 620 - 720
Average High School GPA: 3.6
% with GPA 3.75 of higher: 36%
% with GPA 3.50 - 3.74: 36%
% with GPA 3.25 - 3.49: 16%
% with GPA 3.0 - 3.24: 10%
% with GPA 2.5 - 2.99: 2%

They have profiles like this for most colleges, and although for some reason I couldn’t get to their Penn State page, I’m pretty sure Penn State has lower expectations for applicants
good luck and have fun wherever you end up
