My chances to UCLA?

I am an international student in UMass Lowell and will finish 80 credits after 2015 spring. I have a GPA of 3.578 and major in corporate finance. I know it’s a little complicated to transfer from east to west, especially when I’m an international student. But I think I just want to try and see if I can get into a better school.
First, stupid question, does UCLA has corporate finance major? if not, what major should I apply for? since I couldn’t find out what business major does it have. On top of that, my English is not very good because English is not my mother tongue, and I am so worried that I can’t come up with a killer personal statement. I thought I have a pretty good GPA but after I went through the forum, I realized my GPA is actually pretty bad comparing to those who have 3.7+ (I even saw 4.25, is that even possible?). I ace most of my core class but i suck at general educations, such as science, so the grade from gen ed weighted down my GPA.:frowning: I am not very active in school activities but I am a business tutor in school and I am a member of APICS, does these help boosting the chance to transfer to UCLA? Moreover, am I getting to late to transfer since I am going to finish 80 credit after spring?

I am sorry that my question are all over the place.

Your chances at UCLA are incredibly low, so low that I would recommend not applying. If you want to come West then apply to USC instead.

@bomerr ;-( but anyways thanks!

You may have gone over the unit cap, so I would call UCLA to find out if you are eligible to apply. You’ve also missed this application period, so the earliest you could begin at UCLA would be Fall 2016.

This website https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/Tr_Prof.htm has all of the available transfer majors and the competitive GPA of each.

ECs are important since UCLA is a very competitive school. Try to get more involved since it will boost your chances.

As for GPA; college GPA is max 4.0. Anything above that is a High School GPA
