<p>I’m assuming that you are a senior in HS (or about to become a senior).
Your ECs are very impressive and while your GPA is not bad, I’d suggest raising it to ~3.7, if you can. That way, you have a real solid chance of getting in.
As a GA state resident, you might be easier off too. I think the criteria for out-of-state students is different than for in-state.
I might suggest re-taking the SAT as well (if you plan to submit your SAT score) and getting an overall score that’s ~1330 (shoot for >700 on math, GT loves that!)
Hopefully you’re taking some advanced classes (honors/AP), some of which are math/science oriented.
Again, your ECs will be as asset.</p>
<p>You might want to check this up with the admissions office or the GT webpage, but I believe that you should submit your application sometime in the middle of the first semester of your senior year.
Or maybe, that’s early action …</p>
<p>I think you’re supposed to submit sometime in September/October for early action. However, the regular deadline for admission is Dec. 15 which may be better as it appears you have stronger extracurr. and a weaker GPA…they consider more factors during regular decision.</p>
