My chances?

I am a junior from boston and I attend an decent city school.

GPA:
Freshman-2.5
sophmore-3.16
junior-(first half) 3.8
expected senior GPA for the first term- 3.8-4.0

I have had about 4 honors courses and next year I will have 4 AP courses.

ECs
Math club, key club, baseball team, NHS, chess club

Volunteer/work experience:

over 150 hours of volunteering at mass general hospital.
various things in the key club,
after school job that starts next week at the mass general hospital working in the pathology department,
summer job at a daycare place,

Other things:

I take enrichment classes at MIT every saturday, baseball camp freshman year.

SAT scores are expected to be at least 1850 on the new SAT

Does it give me an advantage since I am from Boston?

???

what is 1850 = in regular SAT scores?

the new sat is out of 2400. there is a new writing section that is worth an additional 800

so is that a 1050?

It’s like a 1230.

out of 1600 my score would be at least 1320

if you get a 1300+ and some very solid GPA numbers this and next year id say you have a good shot…but recs and other stuff will have to be accounted for as well

good luck!
