I came to this country in november 2005, (about 13 months) so I haven’t had the chance to get enough vocabulary to do well on the SAT. Regarding the SAT Math, I just didn’t have enough time… :P.

Anyway, I would appreciate if you could tell me my chances.

Thank You

i dont even think those schools will accept your excuse…but i guess u can try?

reject from stanford

Where did you live before you came to the US?

you said, “yeah. i really dont think i need any more safeties
with a 2300 and a 4.0 uw? am i being too confident about this?”, obviously those statistics are amazing but remember that the colleges you are applying to see tons of kids like you with the same statistics (and better) so after a point numbers are no longer the deciding point. Looking at your extra-curriculars you don’t seem to have a ‘hook’ or passion in which you have made any hugely significant achievements in, so your acceptance will really depend on the application pool and your essays; adding more safety schools could never hurt.

By U of NC I assume that you mean the CH campus. With those SAT scores, it’ll be hard to get in if you’re instate and even harder to get in OOS.

Retake the SAT and get something that shows your passion.

Forgot to say:

SAT II:
Physics: 800

Class Rank: 2/ 543 (because of my sat scores :frowning: )
Good essays and good recommendations.

Activities:
Captain of the Soccer and diving team.
Member of the track team
Member of the tennis team.
NHS, NSHS (Spa), NFHS(Fre), NAHS(Arts), Interact club.

part time job, everyday including weekends.

Maryland and Florida are your only sure bets IMHO.

Texas is next most likely. What state do you live in?

I live in florida

Bump!!! !!!

What is your first Language? And Where are you from?

hahaha, what a ■■■■■…

570 on 2c and 800 on physics…right…

and if you can get A in AP Lang…you wouldn’t have scored a 470 on reading…

yea, your academic record is weird… a 5 on the calc AB but only a 570 math, and then a 30 on the ACT math, 800 physics but 570 on math 2… very odd

and just to let you know, colleges wont care if you ran out of itme on the SAT cuz there are plenty of kids who didnt… and there are plenty of kids who dont prep too, so saying that your scores are low cuz you didnt prep isnt reall such a valid excuse

haha… busted

What makes people lie on these Forums ? Aren’t they looking for honest answers ?

Florida = Fairly good match. Try for this school since you are instate.
Texas = Pretty doubtful. They only admit 5% of out of state students.
Maryland = Nuh uh.
North Carolina = Nope.
Virginia = **** no!
Stanford = Does not even require a serious response.

Mey Malibuhippie—stop being an *******. and don’t give some creative excuse like “But it’s trueeeeee…”

Honesty is the best policy. Look at what others are saying.

This guy is just ****in messing around. His stats are completly fake.
