so according to this nw doesnt count frosh grades…

Im not sure if they do.

The whole concept of strangers judging your ability to be admitted based on these few stats/facts makes me supremely uncomfortable. With that said, I think 1800 is going to be way too low. I have yet to encounter anyone (aside from maybe a varsity athlete) that has gone below 2000. It’s getting more competitive every year. I think NU does a good job looking at things other than gpa (which yours is also too low) and SAT, but it still needs to compete, on paper, with the Ivies, UofCs, & Wash Us of the country.
Good luck and be sure to show interest and commitment in your application.

i know someone who was admitted with a 29 act, and although the tests obviously don’t measure the same thing, percentile-wise that converts to around a 1300.

it is possible, and especially as a first-gen college student, they understand that you may not necessarily have had the same preparation for a test like that as other students.

re-take SAT and take ACT

Agreed. 1800 isn’t happening unless you’ve done something 1 in a million.

High Reach.
Re-take SAT for sure.

I recommend that you raise your gpa and sat scores and find some EC that distinguishes you from the rest. but that might be a little late now

you could write amazing essays though

Are you… behind a year in math? Not that that has any great impact, just wondering.
