<p>Your academic profile is subpar for a Pomona student, and while your devotion to community service is commendable, I don’t see any unusual or interesting activities. However, your first generation college status and background may help. </p>
<p>I’d STRONGLY reccomend retaking the SAT–shooting for around a 2200 or so. Try to get a 750 or higher on the verbal section to highlight your strength in the humanities. Also, make sure that your essays reflect your personality… and it wouldn’t hurt to make them quirky too.</p>
