any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey you have an interesting resume, your SAT is weak. You need to retake it and get above a 2200+. Also your world history SAT 2 is also weak, so retake another one. Have you thought abt the ACT? You seem like you would do well on that. I’d give that a shot. Also, get more community service hours. 114 really isnt much. Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback. I will be taking the SAT again in the fall and expect to do much better on the Math section. As for SATIIs, I don’t really know which one I would take. I haven’t really considered that ACT. How is it different?

Well the sections are Math, Science, English, Reading, and Writing. It is more of a preparation based exam. If you study really hard, you can do well. Whereas the SAT is alot more of intellectual reasoning, thus harder. Its much easier to study for the ACT. Also, the ACT is accepted by Brown instead of the SAT and the SAT 2s. So you can just submit one exam.

Glycerine is right on.

Your resume is pretty darn impressive, and Brown likes engineering majors.

However, your SATs should break the 2200 and (if you want super high chances) the 2300 barrier. ACT could be a good test for you given your strength in math and science. Take a few practice tests and see how you score. Shoot for a 33+, and preferably 34+.

As a prospective engineering major, you really should take an SAT 2 science test. Chemistry is much easier than bio and physics from what I’ve heard.

Also, if you can get the chance, you should take another liberal artsy SAT 2 and score better than a 700 or retake that World History.

Best of luck.
