wow! ur having illness does counts, and it seems like you accomplished much despite your illness! just wondering, if that’s ok with you, what do u have?
Please chance me too?
You might have a good chances at each one of them, but heck, idk, the admissions are changing each year.

You seem to be involved in a lot of great activities (especially while dealing with an illness) and your grades seem pretty good! Junior high/middle school generally doesn’t count on college applications–although you may be able to mention the newspaper bit at least–maybe in an essay or something.

It’s generally easier to chance you once you’ve taken SATs and are nearly done or done with junior year. Right now I would say that you’re definitely heading in the right direction and keep up the good work! If you keep doing as well as you are, I’d say your chances are pretty good.
(When you actually apply, you should make sure you’ve got a few safety schools in there–that’s a great list, but those schools are chancy because the competition is so high!)

You’re showing the key things colleges look for, as well.

  1. academics
  2. (hopefully) good test scores
  3. leadership and initiative
  4. service and community involvement
The bonus being that you’ve done all this while dealing with and getting treatment for an illness. :)

bump…
