My chances

i’m currently attending grand valley state university, a division 2 liberal arts college in michigan. that being said, i am spending/spent a year in japan through a study abroad program which made me realize i don’t want the international relations degree ive been working towards.

i am 3 credits and an honors project away from graduating after i come back (basically i would have been done in 3 years, but japan took up one year).

i have maintained a 3.8 gpa during the last 4 years as well.

at this point, i am thinking about transferring into the university of michigan to study either business or engineering. i do not want to go to grad school right away.

during my senior year in hs, i was accepted into u of m, but due to financial cirumstances, i chose to go to grand valley state university on a full scholarship.

my question is: since i’m not post-bac yet, could i still transfer into u of m in pursuit of another degree?

if you need to know anything about my academic stats, lemme know.

thanks to those who reply in advance. i will be checking often.

nobody knows anything that could help me?

i don’t think you can unless you want to spend two (or possibly even more if you haven’t taken any engineering classes) full years at u of m, in which case you might want to consider a masters program instead

thanks for replying. i don’t mind and am actually looking forward to 2 years+ in undergrad again if i can learn about something else in a different environment.

you should call them and ask, they still might not let you
