My school does not calculate weighed GPA’s but I have taken my fair share of a few AP classes, Middle College Classes or advanced classes.
SAT- 1660 (530/600/530)
Community Service- 90 hours, 30 hours Sophomore, Junior and Senior year of coaching basketball.</p>

<p>I’d agree that you’re a longshot.</p>
<p>If you can somehow explain why your GPA is low, but really show up your community service, then maybe you’ve got a chance. But that is a low GPA.</p>
<p>Actually im out of state, not in state as i wrote before
And they have that explanation area where you explain why your GPA was low in any area and I had a 3.0 freshman year, a 2.7 sophomore year and a 3.6 Junior Year. Sophomore year I suffered from a change in environment from moving to a different high school and my parents were going through a divorce that year, so maybe they will be somewhat lenient about my sophomore year.</p>
