Sorry that was so irritating to read ;)

Also I’ve gotten all A’s in every course I’ve ever taken and I’ve taken the most difficult course load available at my school. My job as Washington Mutual Intern requires I work 40 hours when I’m not in school and around 10-15 hours per week when in school. As well as being a student in my intensive performing arts magnet program. For most of the plays we do its weeks of staying after school everyday (some days till ten) working on the show as well as some 13 hour Saturday rehearsals. We even have some Sunday evening rehearsals so when I tell you we work hard I’m not kidding !
Please let me know what you think my chances are and what other schools you think I should consider. :)

I think you have great chances. Even if you weren’t a URM, you’d still be a strong candidate…that status just pushes you over the top. It’s nice to see that even though theater is clearly your forte, you still excel in academic subjects. To tell you the truth, I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in- you seem like just the type of person Yale is looking for.

i’d say you’re an excellent candidate. keep up the good work and good luck!

anyone else

Yay - another Georgian :). Did you end up going to GHP for theatre? I was a math major in 2002. Oh, the memories…

Your app looks really strong, so you’ll probably want to go for Foundation Fellows in UGA (or maybe Pres. at Tech if you’re thinking about engineering at all) and Emory Scholars. I don’t think that any other in-state schools are necessary with your stats.

No i didn’t go because i got my internship that summer
