Received the Achievement Award in my Dance Studio out of all the dancers of each age

**The Fredrick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award was also a scholarship to go to University of Rochester. I got a free application, and $7,500 off per year if I choose to go there.

Where would you think I have a chance, because I'm not sure how I'd look to top schools? I'm afraid I'll just getrejected because of my lower SAT score and such. So I am looking at: Gettysburg, Ithaca, Salve Regina, University of Rochester(b/c of the scholarship), Quinnipiac, and Endicott

Bumping... Kinda ticks me off that everyone can tell the chances of some perfect SAT scoring, 4.0 kid, on if he can get into Harvard. A ten year old could tell you that he will.

But when it comes to someone who actually NEEDS the help, people can't even do that.

im not entirely sure about ur schools
but u have solid ec's
ur grades are superb (97.7) awesome
hmm, i think u shud try to improve the sat over the summer
take it in oct
hopefully act will be good

I can only speak to ithaca, and gettysburg here.

your grades seem to show that you work really hard, but the standardied test scores, show simply that you're not a good test taker, or simply it isn't your strength. If your applying to liberal arts colleges then you should stand a good chance as they'll usually see through to the person not to the test score. Id say go for it, you have good EC's and seem to be a great student. If you dont feeel comfortable, tehn take the SAT over again, and wait on your ACT score.

I think you have an excellent chance with all the schools you have listed except for Rochester and Gettysburg, which are reaches dur to your low SAT scores. I trust you are aware that the Douglas/Anthony scholarship is not a guarantee of admission? The valedictorian of a high school in our area received the U of R's Bausch and Lomb scholarship as a junior, but was rejected when she applied because of her low standardized test scores. On the other hand you have better ECs than she did. I'm not saying do not apply to the U of R and Gettysburg, just saying these are reaches.
