<p>Okay, so just some background information here…</p>

<p>GPA (unweighted)- 2.6
GPA (weighted)- 2.9
SAT (/1600)- 1010
Class Rank above 50%
Good recs, not many extra curriculars…
Financially, I am good… but cheaper is better</p>

<p>What are my chances for:

  • Alabama
  • Indiana
  • Kansas
  • UMass Amherst
  • UMass Boston
  • Kentucky</p>

<p>I live in NC, and I am planning on entering in the dentistry field, much like my father. Can anyone give me some good recommendations for other OOS options I might want to look into?</p>

<p>Your stats are WAY too low. I would consider retaking the SAT’s at least. Give it a shot though to be honest since anything is possible but don’t expect much. As I said just give the SAT’s another shot and try to put more effort and studying behind it. If that doesn’t work out you should apply to a state school in NC and do well for a year and then transfer if you want to go to another school. Best of luck.</p>

<p>You have a good shot at UMass Boston. Slight chance at Bama (you’re in the 25% area of accepted students). I didn’t check all the Common Data Sets but I think the rest get even more “reachy”.</p>
