personal circumstance(maybe an idea for an essay) freshmen year of high school traveled an hour and 30 minuets(each way) from indiana to chicago for school. i guess i would write about how it made me more disciplined and how i learned about many things just besides academics

thanks

sorry, i looked uga freshmen year admission criteria and saw, “Additionally, any grades of D or F on your transcript especially in your junior or senior yearwould be cause for concern on the part of our Admissions Committee and should be addressed in your application.” my freshmen year of high school i got a D+ in spanish. how much will this affect me? is there anyway i could let them know what really happened?

Man, i think you’ll do just fine. A 3.72 is great and they only m entioned a D/F in Jr or Sr years… freshman year is still a transitioning period for the student so they will probably understand that, especially in a foreign language. You were in honor roll so, I wouldn’t fret. Good luck and hopefully see you there in '11 !
