I currently go to SFSU. I know I’m just a freshman and my first semester is barely coming to an end but my classes have been WAY too easy. I had far more challenging classes in highschool. Right now I’m a pre-psych major and am taking English, psychology clinical thinking, astronomy, and biology. Except for maybe my astronomy class, my teachers have taught me NOTHING new. I guess right now I’m just wondering if this is because I’m barely a freshman and taking my GE’s right now or if this is abnormal. It’s not just me either. All of my friends agree that most if not all of their classes are really easy. I’m not one of those people that come to just to get a degree and get out. I want to do research in psychology and get a Ph.D. so I’ve actually got to learn something.
You’re probably taking all intro and GE classes, so you’ll have a mix of students in those classes (some who are interested in the material and others who just want to fulfill a requirement). I would wait and see how the psych major classes go.
