To all the participants here. It’s really clear that the only thing we ALL have in common is that we care about our kids. Our ways of demonstrating that care, our hopes and goals for our kids, our definitions of success, our parenting styles, our expectations of behavior, etc., etc., etc., differ WIDELY (and at times, I mean REALLY, REALLY WIDELY). And yet, the tone on these boards is nearly always respectful and pleasant. I’ve been online practically since online existed (remember dial-up and Prodigy? back in the late 80’s/early 90’s?) and honestly, this is one of the few forums I have ever seen where people of such differing views have managed to keep the tone non-nasty.

Kudos to all of you.
