OP: What are your admission and financial safeties? How much can your parents pay/year for college? (If the “bills are piling up,” then it sounds like you need financial aid.
You need a more realistic list of colleges.
I don’t know a thing about U of T. You might get accepted at BU (that’s Boston University…is that what you meant), and NYU. The others are reaches…Harvard and Columbia.
Can your parents pay the full price for you to attend college here in the U.S?
Paying taxes & having income are 2 different issues.
Forget NYU. It gives really lousy FA. If can’t afford to take the SAT again, then u cannot afford NYU.
Harvard & Columbia are far reaches. You need more schools that are higher probability.
@CTTC the bills are piling up because sending me and my sisters (same age/grade) for four years will cost ove half a million US dollars. While my father can (almost) afford it, we’re trying to see what we can do to reduce the number. My safety is Boston University.
@thumper1 yes, my parents can afford my tuition, but with a few cuts if me and my sisters pay full price.
@GMTplus7 I can afford to pay for the SAT cash-wise, but it still is over $2,000 for everything (applications, standardized scores etc *3)

BU ($66K/year) is a safety? All your stats are in the middle 50%ile. You are a solid match for BU.
@ErinsDad … yeah. I guess I’m getting my hopes up for everything else. I guess it’s worth a shot. If anything, the local college here is pretty good.
